Entornos Educativos Virtuales o Entornos    Educativos de Aprendizaje

Conjunto de herramientas de interacción, sincrónica y asincrónica, con las que es se lleva a cabo el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje, a través de un sistema de administración de aprendizaje, con base en un programa curricular. (Rayón, Escalera & Ledesma citados por Chan, 2004).

Constituyen una forma totalmente nueva de Tecnología Educativa y ofrece una compleja serie de oportunidades y tareas a las instituciones de enseñanza de todo el mundo, el entorno de aprendizaje virtual lo define como un programa informático interactivo de carácter pedagógico que posee una capacidad de comunicación integrada.

Los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje son un sistema de acción que basa su particularidad en una intención educativa y en una forma específica para lograrlo a través de recursos infovirtuales.

Lo anterior implica, que los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizajes hacen referencia a la organización del espacio, la disposición y la distribución de los recursos didácticos, el manejo del tiempo y las interacciones que se dan en el aula.

Por otro lado, algunos autores hacen referencia de un EVA como un software con accesos restringidos, concebido y diseñado para que las personas que acceden a él desarrollen procesos de incorporación de habilidades y saberes. Es un entorno dinámico, con determinadas condiciones físicas y temporales que posibilitan y favorecen el aprendizaje.

Virtual Educational Environments or Educational Learning Environments

They constitute a totally new form of Educational Technology and offer a complex series of opportunities and tasks to teaching institutions around the world, the virtual learning environment defines it as an interactive computer program of pedagogical nature that has an integrated communication capacity.

The Virtual Learning Environments are a system of action that bases its particularity on an educational intention and a specific way to achieve it through info virtual resources.

The foregoing implies that the Virtual Learning Environments refer to the organization of space, the layout and distribution of teaching resources, the management of time and the interactions that occur in the classroom.

On the other hand, some authors refer to an EVA as a software with restricted access, conceived and designed so that the people who access it develop processes of incorporation of skills and knowledge. It is a dynamic environment, with certain physical and temporal conditions that enable and favor learning.
